Bonnie Jantzen

Counseling Intern

Bonnie Jantzen is a counseling intern working closely under supervision with Dr. Pearce. Bonnie has completed clinical training and coursework through her Masters of Science in Counseling program at Clarks Summit University to fulfill what she considers to be a lifelong calling. She will finish her Masters degree in 2024, and continue working as an associate counselor (LAC).

Bonnie brings a natural warmth and understanding to her connection with clients. She communicates easily and with great compassion, welcoming clients to share their stories and explore both root causes and paths toward healing. She integrates Biblical knowledge, her love for Christ, and faith-centered interventions for those who desire it. Like all therapists at GBH, Bonnie works with clients of all faiths and backgrounds. Clients will benefit from Bonnie’s supportive presence and her tailoring of treatment to their specific needs through supervision and ongoing training and research.

Bonnie’s greatest clinical strengths lie in helping clients move toward growth by identifying core values and needs, and resolving wounds - both obvious and hidden - that may have been carried for some time. Her deep empathy and perceptive insights help her tailor her counseling approach to each client’s specific situation.

We are proud to have Bonnie with us at Grace Behavioral Health to complete her degree and licensure requirements. As an intern, Bonnie offers clients an opportunity for cost-effective treatment without compromising on quality and expertise. Bonnie looks forward to expanding her repertoire of skills and treatment specialties as she works with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
